Do you struggle to supervise multiple students? Would you like to develop skills to supervise multiple students without increasing your workload?
There are many benefits to supervising multiple students. We will discuss how you can plan for multiple students, how you can structure their placement, how to facilitate peer learning, and how to reduce the workload on you as a supervisor.
Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Training
PAL has been linked to improved satisfaction and learning outcomes for students, making a positive impact on students attending clinical placement.
PAL training aims to equip clinical educators with the necessary information and skills to enable increasing confidence in the supervision of multiple students utilising Peer Assisted Learning.
This training is relevant for all Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health professional staff who supervise students.
Where the pair of students is shared between more than one supervisor, it is preferable that both/all supervisors would participate/attend training.
