GVRTH Clinical Supervision Webinar Series info

The University Department of Rural Health, Going Rural Health, the Rural Hub and the Excellence in Clinical Teaching (EXCITE) team from the Department of Medical Education are introducing a Clinical Supervision lunchtime webinar series in 2019.  This series features both lecture sessions and mentor panel sessions, to better support health professionals in the supervision of students, trainees and peers.

Webinar lecture series

Our ZOOM webinar lectures are a one-hour lecture and facilitated discussion featuring topics that often create the greatest challenges for supervisors in a clinical setting.  The series is presented by leaders in medical and health professional education.

Designed as a short set of refreshers, you must have completed either the Advanced or Foundations of Clinical Supervision workshops delivered by the Excellence in Clinical Teaching program to register.

Register via the app, details in the attached flyer (NOT through the usual GRH website as workshop is provided externally)

Registration Instructions:
GVRTH and The Department of Rural Health are trialling a new app which is specific to events for medical
education sessions and events. The app allows for automatic creation and sending of certificates which
makes things much easier for us and you.
1. Scan the QR code to download the app onto your phone or search for “Attendo Plus” in the App Store or
Google Play store
2. Create a user profile. Remember to use your full name as per your college/APHRA registration
3. When prompted to add primary organisation add GVRTH (our logo is displayed)
4. You will then be able to view all the events we have listed and register for them
Any required pre-reading and feedback forms will be added to the event in the app and easily accessible
When the webinar starts there will be a QR code displayed. Scan this at and the app will register your
attendance for the session and then send you a certificate of attendance at the end.
If you have any problems with the app email Mimi Zilliacus: mimi.zilliacus@unimelb.edu.au
