Cultural Competency Training

Aboriginal Cultural Competency is a continuum and we are all at some point along that continuum depending on the level of professional experience, knowledge, values, beliefs and life experience we may have in our lives.

Going Rural Health provides face-to-face and self-directed online learning options for students and health professionals.

Upcoming sessions

We provide Cultural Competency Training sessions across Ballarat, Shepparton and Wangaratta for health professionals and students to attend. The sessions are held regularly throughout the year and are facilitated by local traditional owners in each region.
