On September 10th 2024 we hosted a hybrid event to provide an overview of the ranges of supports provided to University of Melbourne students through the Going Rural Health programme.
We heard from 3 students on their experiences, the challenges they faced, the positives and their preconceptions going into a rural placement – and how they feel about it all now.
University of Melbourne placement staff were online and in person to answer any immediate questions students had around going rural on placement and obtain any discipline specific information.
Thank you to our amazing panel of students, all who assisted in making the night a reality, and all who joined us.
