Yarrawonga

Yarrawonga is situated in Moira Shire, border town to southern New South Wales’ Mulwala and known as an ‘inland aquatic paradise’.

Situated between Cobram and Rutherglen, Yarrawonga-Mulwala is separated by the man made weir, creating a 23km long lake. It is located around 300km north-east Melbourne, and home to approximately 7, 057 people.

Lake Mulwala lies between the twin towns of Yarrawonga and Mulwala, lined with large ghostly river red gums. Close to town it is enjoyed for water skiing, sailing, swimming, canoeing, fishing and cruising.

The surrounding country supports substantial primary industries, including: dairy, agricultural and pastoral activities.
